Mission

The League City Historical Society’s mission is to promote, preserve and celebrate the history of League City and the surrounding area. Our goals include educating the community on our rich history while fostering a positive community spirit for rebuilding, restoring, and preserving the historical area of the city.

PURPOSE

LCHS brings history lovers together and sponsors programs such as the West Bay Common Schoolhouse hands-on history experience, the Landmark Medallion registry, tours of historic sites and educational programs for all ages in the community. We link the past to the present and the present to the future.
